Forward together in Hope - looking forward for May

"The 'presence' of the Church is not defined by a building, but by the witness of the community." This whole process is working towards finding out how we ensure that our Church is viable and flourishes in our area and what it would look like. Something to think about is: Which stories in the Gospels encourage you and your community to become more committed disciples of Jesus?

Quote of the week

‘When politics were more local, they were more truthful’ G.K. Chesterton

May the month of Mary

It becomes you to be

mindful of us, as you

stand near Him who granted you all graces,

for you are the Mother of God and our Queen.

Help us for the sake of the King,

the Lord God and Master who was born of you.

For this reason, you are called full of grace.

Remember us, most holy Virgin,

and bestow on us gifts from the riches of your graces,

Virgin full of graces.

St. Athanasius
