It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves,

And it is not possible to find it elsewhere

Agnes Repplier, American essayist 1855-1950.

St. Patrick

God our Father,

You sent St. Patrick to preach

Your glory to the people of Ireland.

By the help of his prayers,

May all Christians proclaim

Your love to all men.

Grant this through our Lord

Jesus Christ, your Son,

Who lives and reigns with

You and the Holy spirit,

One God, for ever and ever.
