Home Mission Sunday – Proclaim God’s Mercy

Be merciful to refugees

The history of refugees in the UK shows just how

much they have shaped our culture and national reputation.

For example, 49 refugees in the UK have won the Nobel Prize

for science, while

Fish and chips, The Mini and Marks & Spencers

were all introduced to the UK by refugees.

From doctors to teachers, to engineers,

refugees are often highly educated

and bring a host of skills that could

benefit our economy.
