Partnership Matters

Requests  have been made for:

a)   any Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to volunteer to participate in a rota to visit Catholic patients within Hexham General Hospital.

(b)  any parishioner(s) would like to participate in a rota to visit Catholic patients with the hospital. If so please give your names to Fr. Pyle.

What are you and your family doing for Advent?

 Evening of Reflection for Advent

led by Fr. Peter Stoddart.

This event is open to all parishioners within the Heavenfield Partnership of Parishes and will be held in the

Parish Centre at St. Mary’s Church, Hexham

from 7:00pm on Tuesday 12th December 2017.

Light refreshments will be served.

Today – Support our young folk.

“We couldn’t have done it without you” sentiments echoed by youth ministry team who rely on rest of us in the diocese to support them with prayers and donations.  A summary below of team mission.

 2474 school missions; 120 Pope John Paul II Awardees for parish & social action; 3000 primary school’s festivals; 4159 attended retreat at Youth Village; 800 Flame Congress in London; 450 Secondary School’s festival. Please support our youth who are our future


Hw. Christmas Day Special – for 3rd Year running


An invitation to everyone, not just elderly and infirm on their own but also families – open to all.


Doors of Methodist Hall open from 10.00a.m. – 4.30p.m.

10a.m. Hot drinks including hot chocolate/Mince Pies etc.

12 noon Full Christmas Dinner – also soup; buffet available

3.15p.m. – Come for tea and enjoy the company whilst listening to the Queen’s speech.


Previous years people came after church for a time; some came for dinner; some came for a chat and stayed all day.


Everyone is welcome to come along on the day; please can you let Haltwhistle partnership know numbers for catering.

Any children please tell to let Santa know.
