Holy Father’s Missionary Intention October

That with a missionary spirit the Christian communities of Asia may announce the Gospel                 to those who are still awaiting it.

Hw. Festival of Angels

Invitation from Holy Cross church to participate in this event in December. Those who                         partake are offered the chance to advertise contact details on their group/church –                                 Christmas services e.g.

The hope is to display as many different Angels, or as much angel inspired artwork as                         possible; bought, homemade, family heirlooms, toys or pictures. The editor has a few ideas if             anyone is interested!

Harvest Fast Day prayer

God of abundance, all good things come from you.

The world, full of life, reflects your glory and sings your praise.

You call us all to share fairly the bounty of your creation, and the gifts you give us.

But so many people in this world of plenty do not have enough to eat.

And so we ask you, God of all, to create in us a desire to make all things new.

So that through your goodness all those in need may eat and be satisfied.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
