Living the Gospel Today

This event has been developed through a partnership between Our Diocesan Evangelisation group and Durham Cathedral and diocese.

It will culminate in a celebration and commissioning at Durham Cathedral next Sunday 6th September the feast of the translation of St. Cuthbert.

  • This service will be led by the Archbishop of Liverpool Malcolm McMahon and the Archbishop of York John Sentamu and promises to be a wonderful and challenging celebration.

  • Feel free to invite people from other churches to join.

  • This sits firmly in all the diocese is trying to do in “Forward together in Hope” and so highlights the need for the people of the diocese together with their brothers and sisters from other churches to recognise the challenge of living and sharing the gospel today.

Next Sunday 6th Sept. – 23rd Sunday of the Year

3.30p.m. Durham Cathedral “Living the Joy of the Gospel”.
