President Trump’s resolve to build Mexican Wall will also have implications for the churches which have properties and land along the way.

Fond Farewell

Father Leo said his first Mass in our two parishes in September 1997.

Both his Golden & Diamond Jubilee were celebrated with us.

While we were privileged to share his celebrations of the Mass he also shared his wisdom and wit. His homilies were followed on the website by visitors abroad as well as parishioners away on holiday.

His generosity and energy supporting ecumenism in the area included leading the services  twice monthly at the Methodist chapel (in both parishes) and has set the standard for our continual resolve  in working with Churches Together.

Father Leo has helped us individually; emotionally and spiritually and continues to be met with great affection by all,  far beyond the bounds of our parishes.

He will be dearly missed around the area as he moves into his well-earned retirement.

Thank you, Fr Leo, for your faithful service to us all.

Happy new year to you all.  Fr.Leo Pyle

New Year Wishes

May peace break into your homes

and may thieves come to steal your debts.

May the pockets of your coats

become a magnet for £100 notes.

May love stick to your face like Vaseline

and may laughter assault your lips!

May happiness slap you across the face

and may your tears be that of joy and mercy

May the problems you had,

forget your home address

May 2019 – be the best year of your life!!!!
