Pentecost Sunday

The gift of peace was

the risen Christ’s blessing

to the Apostles.

The gift of peace is something we pray for most

for those living with illnesses

of the body or mind.

The gift of peace is

an occasional glimpse of the joy

of heaven to help us

on this earthly journey.

Come Holy Spirit!

Diocesan Launch

The feast of Pentecost sees the ‘launch’ of the 18 new partnerships across our Diocese. A ‘Pointing the Way’ leaflet is being provided for every parishioner - setting out where our journey together over the past two and a half years has taken us and how we move into implementation. A Prayer for Our New Partnership is included as a focus for a reflection in each parish over Pentecost weekend.
