That those Christians who are discriminated against or are being persecuted, on account of their faith, may remain strong and faithful to the Gospel, thanks to the incessant prayer of the whole church.

 

St. Cuthberts Care – Grateful Thanks

Advent alms - £300 donated to this worthy cause helping ease some of the modern-day struggles that many families face in North East.

 

World Mission Sunday 2015 - Grateful Thanks

£185 donated towards this annual collection for Catholic missionaries some of whom give their lives caring for the world’s poorest communities.

 

CAFOD – Harvest Fast Day 2015 Grateful Thanks

£540 received so that communities in Niger can learn how to grow crops despite living in the most difficult conditions and to help malnourishes families.

Fair Trade & CAFOD.

The Fair trade stall in H. B. took £50 last Sunday. The raffle for the fair trade breakfast hamper which was won by Mary Pyle made

£83 which will be added to the young people's Lenten fundraising for CAFOD
