Thought for the Week

Error never shows itself in its naked reality, in order not to be discovered. On the contrary, it dresses elegantly, so that the unwary may be led to believe that it is more truthful than truth itself.

 St. Irenaeus.

Note from Editor

Regret no bulletin next week.

 Sea Sunday Prayer

Dear God, watch over the sea for our seafarers;

 That they may safely guarded be.

Help them each lonely hour to bear,

 As I would Lord if I was there.

When they are sleeping watch them then,

 That fear may not their dreams offend.

Be ever near them throughout the day.

Let none, but goodness come their way.

Sweet faithful Lord who waits for me,

Beyond the wide and spacious sea.

Be merciful, O God, I pray, take care of them at sea.
