Thought of the week

Happiness is not an app, Pope tells youth. (weekend teenage meeting Rome).

A Child’s Grace

Invited to say Grace at a table full of guests, the six year old did not know what to say. “Just say what you hear Mommy say” her mother prompted. The little girl bowed her head and said: ‘Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?’

Pentecost Sunday

Come, Holy Ghost, Creator blest,

And in our hearts take up thy rest;

Come with thy grace and heavenly aid

To fill the hearts which thou hast made.

O Comforter, to thee we cry

Thou heavenly gift of God most high;

Thou font of life and fire of love,

And sweet anointing from above.
