Thought for the week – Modern Ways of Missioning

Paraphrase Isaiah: “How lovely on the mountains are the mouse-clicks of he who brings good news!”

The internet is where ‘all nations’ increasingly reside.   Through the wonderful modern means of the internet.

Corpus Christi

Jesus must be allowed to propose himself to each disciple with

“The Body of Christ” and each disciple must be given the opportunity to respond with his or her personal “Amen”.

Communion is not an option, because Jesus does not

love us as a crowd;

He desires communion with each of us.

The personal communion that each of us has with Christ makes us not a crowd, but a community – a family promised no less intimacy with Christ and with one another than the

Twelve gathered around the table for that First Mass.

Fr. Richard Veras

Next Sunday 5th June – 10th Sunday of the Year
