Personal Time with the Gospel

As any gardener will tell you, this is a busy time for sowing seeds. It is a fact that, with a few exceptions, the moment the seed hits the soil it disappears. We know the process of germination but it is hidden in the earth until the moment the shoot appears and we know that what appeared to die has a new and different life.

  • How does this image of a seed – and death – and growth speak to me of what is going to happen to Jesus and what it means?
  • When have I experienced things dying – or disappearing – and finding that there is new life appearing?-
