Prayer for Home Mission Sunday

O God,

who sent your Son into the world

as the true light, pour out the Spirit

he promised to sow the seeds of

truth in people’s hearts. Awaken

our faith, we pray, so that, walking

in the ways of salvation and love,

we may call all people to become

one in Christ.

We make this prayer through the

same Christ our Lord,

Amen.
