Prayer for the week.

Lord protect me from gloomy saints. Keep me reasonably sweet, for a sour old person is one of the crowning works of the devil.

St. Therese of Avilla.

I suppose grief never

ends but it changes.

Some have described it

as a journey or a passage

and not a place to stay.

It is certainly

not a sign of

weakness nor a lack of faith.

It is rather the

price of love.

The price we pay

for having truly loved.
