Teach us to be Prophets Now

To be your prophets, Lord, our hearts should burn with righteous indignation when we witness, poverty, injustice and homelessness.
Our voices should be raised to speak in Your name against the way our society ignores and abuses its weakest members.

Our minds should be set to finding solutions, curing homelessness with more homes, and poverty with our open and loving generosity.

Our hands should be reaching out offering care and shelter sharing in the building of a new Kingdom.

O God, our ever loving creator, we need to start being Your prophets now.

Amen.
